With so much emphasis these days on looking and feeling younger, many people have turned to advances in medicine to help them achieve this goal. We offer detailed testing profiles which can help you recognize chemical and hormonal imbalances that may accelerate the aging process. These tests may reveal undiagnosed hormone deficiencies, which can be corrected by supplemental therapy with the appropriate hormones, such as human growth hormone, thyroid hormone, testosterone, estrogen or insulin.

Our basic anti-aging laboratory panel (for both men and women) includes tests of thyroid function (T3, T4, and TSH), bone marrow function (complete blood count), and measurement of the body's basic chemical and electrolyte composition (comprehensive metabolic panel). Specific tests of sexual function in men (testosterone and dihydrotestosterone) or women (estradiol, luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone and prolactin) are also available. Sex hormone binding globulin is another test specifically monitoring for sexual dysfunction in both men and women. HGH, a direct measurement of human growth hormone, and IGF-1, an indirect measurement of human growth hormone, convey a sense of how rapidly one is aging.

During an initial consultation, we will devise a panel of tests specifically tailored towards your needs. After carefully assessing your body's chemistry and hormone status, recommendations of appropriate anti-aging medications and wellness products will be made, such as replacement hormones, vitamin preparations, or skincare products. In conjunction with these treatments, we will also offer nutritional advice, as well as an exercise program designed to help you meet your specific weight-loss goals.
